When you leave school, there’s a common train of thought that goes “well that was a waste of time. I’ll never need any of that Maths again. After all, I’m going to be an advertising copywriter. That’s all about creativity. And, besides, dozens of people sign off work so any mistakes are bound to get picked up.”
Or something like that anyway. Which is fine right until something like the example below, from the front page of this morning’s Metro, happens.
