So, we’re here at last. All the competitors lined up on the starting line. All the policies worked up – some better than others. All the manifestos at the printers. And tomorrow the Queen will fire the starting gun. The next month is going to be a long one. Lots of doorstepping and voter IDing before eve of poll madness. I don’t know how much I’ll be able to blog, but I’ll try when I get a chance.
To all the Labour people who read this, the very best of good luck. And do remember it’s a marathon and not a sprint. Try to enjoy as much of the experience as possible. And remember to eat and sleep. They’re more important than you’ll think on, say, May 2.
