The Free Schools Debate

Stephen Twigg

Rt Hon Stephen Twigg MP

Given my limited computer access – something I’m working on – I don’t really have time to write a detailed blog post on Free Schools, which I wanted to given the debate over Stephen Twigg’s overnight reversal of party policy and some of the comments made by those on the left of the party such as Owen Jones, and those on the right of Genghis Khan like Toby Young.

In the absence of that post, I refer you to my old friend Hopi Sen’s blog on the subject over at his refreshed and reinvigorated site here.

He gives voice to a sensible overview of the situation (as well an explanation of wedgie-Wednesday), and the comments feed is also worth a read-through.

I will try to write some stunningly witty and original thought myself soon.
